  • Manchester Street is has been temporarily re-opened. It is north-bound and one-way only from Tuam Street to Hereford Street.

Victoria Square

Two pedestrian pathways into Victoria Square are available - one via the Armagh Street bridge (east of the intersection with Durham Street), and the other via Kilmore Street, past the Town Hall.

Manchester Street (temporary)

Manchester Street is open for north bound traffic between Tuam and Hereford Streets, and two way traffic between Hereford and Worcester Streets.

Christchurch central business district rebuild zone

  • Temporary traffic management subject to change.
  • Drive with caution and obey traffic signage.
  • Cordon opening dates have been, and will continue to be, dependent on the ability to make these areas safe to enter.
