More feedback needed on Central City Survey
Release Date: 27 January 2012
Following work getting underway on construction of thefirst multi-level building in Christchurch’s CBD since the February 22 earthquake, the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority is reminding Cantabrians to have their say on how they want to rebuild the city centre.
“There’s not a lot of time left for property and business owners, tenants and customers to give us their feedback at www.centralcitystudy.org.nz,” said Acting Chief Executive, Warwick Isaacs.
“Although we’ve had a good response to date, we still want to make sure we reach as many people as possible and make sure everyone has their voice heard.
“The Central City Commercial Property Study is an important tool in helping us understand how the people of Christchurch want to rebuild their CBD.
“I would encourage everyone to get on line and have their say.
“This information will give us, the Government and Christchurch City Council, a strong platform from which to action the Central City Plan,” said Mr Isaacs.
Anyone who wishes to take part in the survey can log on to www.centralcitystudy.org.nz
The survey results will be delivered to CERA in February.
