Port Hills zoning review
On 9 October 2012 the Government announced that it will conduct a final check of the Port Hills red/green zoning.
The Government is satisfied that the criteria for Port Hills red and green zoning decisions are sound and practical. A final check will be undertaken to ensure the Port Hills zoning criteria has been applied appropriately and consistently.
The Port Hills zoning review will check that the red/green criteria have been applied consistently and will enable officials to respond to those property owners who have requested a review. It may review zoning decisions even where owners have not requested a review. It will not revisit the original criteria.
